Jeremy and Finn planted an herb garden on Sunday. Jeremy has fond memories of planting seeds as a child and watching new life spring up from the dirt. We'll see how long it takes me to kill the poor plants.

In case you couldn't tell, Finn and T are sitting in their cockpits of the airplanes that Finn created on our bed. There is something beautiful about having your first child, but nothing compares with the magic of watching the room light up from the big gummy grin that T gives Finn when he walks into the room. I can't wait to see what fun (and trouble) these two create together in the years to come.

getting started : Again

so I recently realized that the blog I have been posting to since scout was born is called "finneliot". being a third born, i am trying to be sensitive to the syndrome and unfairness of my second son always having to be tacked on to the first... and so the birth of "finnessee". wait. did i just contradict myself, or what? anyway. here is a blog for the both of them. i am planning to actually write some stuff with this one so that I can remember a few things.
